Quality Systems

ISO 9002 - Quality System modeled after ISO 9002 with Certification to that standard targeted for end of 2003

IPC Standards - Manufactured and inspected to IPC - A - 610 B and other IPC standards.

Pre-production Reviews - New products are scrutinized before assembly to verify process parameters and assure all customer requirements and concerns are addressed through Quality Plans.

Statistical Analysis and Feedback - Quality data is accumulated for detailed Failure Analysis, process improvement and Corrective Action. Yield rates are charted to assembly and component levels to improve all aspects of operations.

Traceability - The manufacturing system can provide both Assembly and component traceability tailored to specific customer requirements.

Inspection / Test

100% AOI ( Automated Optical Inspection ) For component verification color codes, position accuracy, polarity, DIP switch settings, bridging, component nomenclature. AOI Increases the reliability , repeatability and effectiveness of visual inspection. The "Nspec" Automated Optical Inspection machine performs visual inspection against a "golden board" or CAD data for rapid set-up and high reliability.

HI-TECH Electronics performs tests on final assemblies with customer supplied test fixtures or custom fixtures designed by HI-TECH.
